477. PRIMARIA SBS. “La Sacra in Lettura” – A Day of Stories and Sunshine

Storie al sole, sorrisi tra le pagine: tutti gli studenti, dai più piccoli ai più grandi, si sono ritrovati nel giardino della scuola per La Sacra in Lettura: una mattinata speciale di libri, racconti e condivisione all’aria aperta.

Students from all school levels came together for a special tradition. The event, La Sacra in Lettura, was held in our school garden. It was a beautiful, sunny day— perfect for reading and sharing stories outdoors. Preschool, Primary, and Secondary students all took part in the celebration. The garden came alive with the soft sounds of storytelling and turning pages, as students sat in groups on picnic blankets with their books.

The highlight of the morning was the involvement of our Secondary students. They were divided into small groups and each group read aloud to our Grade 1 pupils. The younger children listened with wide eyes and smiles as the stories unfolded. Many brought their favorite books to share and discuss after the readings. The older students were thoughtful and engaging, showing great leadership and kindness. Preschoolers also enjoyed listening to stories read by their teachers in cozy little reading circles. The garden was filled with calm, laughter, and imagination. This annual event is designed to promote a love of reading across age groups, while also building a stronger sense of school community.The pleasant weather and fresh breeze made the experience even more delightful for all.
